Tempest’ Chokers was born out of a desire to provide more diversity in the world of vegan leather accessories. Creating within different medias and crafts, I have always thrived most in a vividly color-based approach. Letting my intuition lead me, I like to combine styles and shades inspired by my view of the world and from the joy of playing with and disrupting stereotypes. I have always loved leather-like materials and I have always admired the whole rainbow of colors out there. It felt disappointing to me to see those two elements combined so rarely. Vegan leather chokers seem to be largely confined to silver chains and black leather and more colorful options are often limited to different fabrics. I dislike it when a sensory and artistic combination I cherish does not exist in the width of availability that I desire. So, I set out to create what I was craving. I have been enjoying the journey tremendously and I hope I can make some of you just as happy by creating and offering what I do :)
